GLC Projects Annual Staff Survey Results Show Positive Trends

Last Friday, the entire GLC Projects team gathered for our annual Staff Engagement Day, an event dedicated to reflection, progress updates, and collaboration. Led by Managing Director, Graeme Cochrane, the day included an insightful presentation covering company milestones, upcoming initiatives, and, importantly, the results of this year’s GLC Projects annual staff survey.

The GLC Projects annual staff survey invites employees to share their perspectives on key aspects of working at GLC Projects, with questions such as, “Do you feel motivated to perform well at work?”, “Do you feel GLC Projects addresses health and safety sufficiently?”, and “What is the best thing about working for GLC Projects and what is one thing you would change?”  Team members also had the chance to suggest areas for improvement, ensuring every voice could contribute to our shared future.

The survey results have shown a strong positive trend over recent years, with encouraging responses across critical areas of satisfaction, safety, and job security. 92% stated that they feel motivated to perform well at work. This is a 35% increase from previous years. 85% of staff feel GLC Projects addresses health & Safety sufficiently, with the remaining 15% responding “sometimes”.

Further feedback gathered showed that the best thing about working for GLC Projects is the team, along with the growth and ambition of the company. Graeme Cochrane stated “we are pleased with this feedback, as it demonstrates that we are living and breathing one of our most important company values –  ‘people are our strength’ ”

Graeme expressed his pride in the team’s collective commitment and engagement: “Seeing the results of the GLC Projects annual staff survey fills me with immense pride. The dedication of each and every team member is what drives GLC Projects forward. Together, we’ve built an environment that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Whilst this is a positive year on year increase, we recognise that we need to continue this upward trend, and I’m excited to continue building on this momentum in the years ahead.”

The day closed with a renewed sense of purpose and camaraderie, leaving the team motivated and looking forward to new opportunities.

As we continue our journey together, GLC Projects remains committed to fostering a supportive and safe workplace where everyone feels valued.
