GLC Projects Support Building Refurbishment for Leo’s Charity New Wellbeing Centre
GLC Projects have been hard at work this week helping the team at Leo’s, a charity which supports the wellbeing of neonatal families in the North East.
As the team at Leo’s have been progressing with the refurbishment of their new wellbeing centre in Middlesbrough, one of the GLC Projects stripout teams have been lending a hand too, clearing tonnes of waste and removing redundant flooring ready for the installation of new carpets and vinyl.
During the refurbishment of their new wellbeing centre, large quantities of builder’s waste and general rubbish had accumulated – as the refurbishment is in the last stages of the development, the waste just had to go! GLC Projects removed the waste using one of their caged tippers and quickly followed by stripping out the existing carpets in a number of rooms.
GLC Projects Managing Director, Graeme Cochrane remarked on the progress, “The building is really taking shape, and now the waste is gone, you can really see what a wonderful space the team at Leo’s have created. Leo’s team provide amazing care and support to families in the region and it has been our pleasure to play a part in this refurbishment project for their new wellbeing centre on Teesside.”
GLC Projects are proud to have been able to support Leo’s with their new wellbeing centre in Middlesbrough.
Leo’s have one clear mission, and that is to support and care as much as they can, and to innovate and create new care pathways.
